 An easy Valentine's table setting. You will need:

• A cutting mat and craft knife
• Washi tape {we used neon coral and plain pink}
• A smooth beaker or jam jar

Instructions:

• Layer the washi tape on a cutting mat, making sure the edges overlap
• Cut out your design with a craft knife
• Transfer the whole design to a beaker or vase with a smooth surface {a jam jar would also work well.}

These beautiful floral illustrations make up the Rifle Paper Co. 2012 calendar. Our favourite is August, but we're happy to look at one of these for every month of next year!

Our Japanese masking tape is very versatile on smooth surfaces. We made this little floral decoration with gold and silver masking tape and a plain beaker, and it took so little time to make. For Christmas, we're going to update this look with roses decorated with gold glitter and hairspray.

 Love this use of neon masking tape - simple, but very effective in contrast with the plain grey walls.
